Building strength in leaders
We build strength in leaders by helping them to address the core issues that prevent them reaching their full potential. Our commercial and mediative experience enables us to quickly and fully understand their business challenges, then present practical and effective solutions.
About Core Leadership
Carson Mulholland and Jeremy Gardiner formed Core Leadership in 2015. They were determined to help companies and other organisations get the very best from their leaders.
They recognised that there were often barriers, both real and psychological, that prevented leaders within companies from achieving their full potential – barriers that could be removed through effective and expert coaching. Their overriding aim is to make a tangible and significant difference to people’s lives, releasing the best that is already within them.
Why work with Core?
We work in partnership with you. Great results will only come from working together with a shared purpose. Our success is measured by your success.
We gain an understanding of your context and strategic priorities before we work with your people.
We bring years of commercial experience. We’ve managed and led teams. We’ve been in your shoes.
We bring our commercial and people experience, making a positive difference to individuals, teams and organisations.
Trust is foundational to success. We create environments in which your people feel safe to engage in honest dialogue, finding solutions, creating new possibilities.
We take risks in stretching you to your maximum potential, because we believe we owe it to you to do so.
As a company that specialises in getting the most from other organisations’ people, it is naturally our own people that are the key to delivering that.

Jeremy started as a Minister of Religion. While serving in the community of North Antrim, he took a stand against the unresolved sectarian issues within the local area. This act of leadership opened the doors for dialogue and ultimately reconciliation, and as a result, Jeremy was recognised by the UK and Irish Government for developing good relations between divided communities. He has used the same trust-building approach in his coaching to draw out the best within individuals and teams.
Since 2008, Jeremy has worked as professional facilitator/coach, helping organisations to develop their leadership culture and behaviours. He enables people and teams to address the challenges that are preventing them from reaching their potential. As he puts it, “Real development only takes place, when you feel some sense of internal resistance. For those people willing to engage on the internal journey, a new and better world awaits."
Jeremy’s experience has led to him being a keynote speaker for several organisations focusing on areas including leadership, creating effective cultures, and developing mental resilience.
